As I was researching ideas for adapting music into visual art, I came across a site which combines the two in an interesting way. It is called Art By Music, and allows you to see what an image would look like if it had been drawn using music. The site asks you to upload an image, and then upload any MP3 track, then all you have to do is sit back and watch.
As the music begins, the wave created reveals the image that you have uploaded, and the outcome varies depending on the music that you select. At the moment this site is in Beta, so its not perfect, but I thought this was really interesting.

Also, as I was thinking about design and the thought process of creating a piece of art with specific concepts in mind, I was reminded of a video which was released by Square Enix, revealing the next installment of the 'Final Fantasy' saga. As a huge FF fanatic, I found this video extremely interesting, and it offers up a rare insight into the thoughts of the designers behind the worlds that we see in video games.
