Adaptation: Model design and progression

After looking into game mechanics it appears that one technique is used in many games which involve combat, that is that a certain path or doorway is blocked when enemies appear in order to close the player into a battle area. This is also used as a mini object, in order to continue along a path, you must first defeat a horde of enemies to unlock the destination you are headed towards.

I have been using the idea of the fur from the main teddy in this scene as a theme throughout the level, as it creeps and spreads across the ground in wake of the colossal teddy. My idea is to use the fur as a device to close off the path ahead in order to force the player to complete objectives, such as defeating enemies to progress.







The main level development is progressing at a steady pace and it is finally beginning to take shape.
